The youngest students find loving support in the round elementary school building. Free work, fixed group work and joint lessons sensibly alternate with guilds and chapel. Every single child is supported sufficiently and prepared for the secondary school suitable for it.
The Thuringia regular school model teaches all students together until the end of grade 6. Recommendations enable switching to a different type of school. In grades 7 and 8, the students receive integrated lessons but differentiated assessment in the subjects of Mathematics and English. Students with adequate performance will receive the recommendation for the Hauptschule branch.
The Qualifizierender Hauptschulabschluss exam can be taken at the end of grade 9 in the scope of the central exams. The oral test in the subject "Economy, Law, Technology" is expanded with am important practical component.
Preparation for this practical component commences as early as in the guild work of grades 1 to 6 and in the scope of practical lessons in grades 7 and 8 (e.g. agricultural operations, home economy, carpentry, child care).

Preparation for college studies Graduating from Fachoberschule Haubinda entitles students to study any subject at any German technical college. The subject focus areas offered are technology, focus information technology, and focus area economy/administration, focus hotel business and tourism. Students gain working experience in closely supported internships in selected companies.
